I've got a 3x3 garage power rack and bench from elite fts, loadable dumbbells, buffalo bow squat bar, 14" camber bar, 3 position football bench bar and a Texas power bar. All of this is in my 2 car garage with a ghetto insulated door and a 240v heater so my old ass doesn't freeze during the winter.

My gym is the outdoors. Once I walk through a door, I get stifled. The only thing I want is a power tower so I can do dips and pulls (I had one, sold it).

I used to have a decent set up when gyms were more expensive and spread out. Free weights, Smith machine for squats, plenty of dumbelks and a cable setup for tris, fly’s etc.

Gave it to a buddy when I found planet fitness.

Lol agreed. But it’s cheap and I can find one in any city I’m headed through.

And I still dead lift although it’s altered with a smith machine.

I have something similar to this:s-l1000.jpg

It's really quite versatile. I have to do squats to get in it, inside is all the equipment I need for 12 oz. curls and it even has a place for a cold compress should I overdo it a little. It's really all I'll ever need.

I go to the Y. If I had that stuff at home it would be collecting dust. I'm one of those people that has to go somewhere to workout. Not sure why that is.

Some people just need to be somewhere then the house to lift.....I got tired of the gyms I went to raising their rates year to year and never buying new bars to lift with....it's not fun squatting with a bar that's already bent then adding weight to it and it bends more or a bench that is rickity as hell and u have 345# in your hands and you don't feel stable.

I did some exercising today !

Since I have this app on the phone that counts the steps, I carried it with me while I exercised from 8:30am to 11:50am

The neet thing is....

I got the 18x30 carpet in the Living room cleaned.!

Reminds me of a story I heard probably on talk radio about a men's club in the 80's that was forced to accept women for membership. First thing they did was buy them some exercise equipment consisting of a vacuum, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer.

Did you build that plate storage?
I dig your bar collection. I'm looking at adding a Rogue Chan or OPB, Titan V2 Multi-grip and an EFS SSB to my collection.

My buddy that does woodwork helped me breakdown an old workbench and reuse it to build the plate holders and bar rack

Check out this guy for bars, great prices and all American Made

Unfortunately I'm overseas and only have a few decent options for equipment, but I have seen some of their stuff. I believe I looked at their Swiss bar and SSB.

ATM, I've just got an AF Team 2.0 bar and Titan stubby axle. I would love to get a powerlifting bar and then get some more specialty stuff when I get back to the States. I tried to sell off my AF bar to buy a used Westside PB but I couldn't move it in time.

The best powerlifter bar I have used so far is the Buddy Capps Texas Power Bar.....it's a great all around bar (SQT,BP,DL &OHP)

I hear the Vulcan Absolute Powerlifting Bar is pretty sick. I've been looking at the Rogue OPB. Hoping to catch a boneyard deal.

Most people seem to prefer the OPB over the TPB that I've talked to. I may have used a TPB in the past but I don't recall.

I really only have access to Rogue, Strength Shop, ATX and Barbarian right now.

If I get back to the NC area we will have to try to get a session in!

This guy seems to give pretty fair reviews about lifting and workout products

I've been working out with my buddy in his garage for about 6 months now. We are using the following:

Titan T3 rack with multi-grip pull up bar
Rogue Ohio bar
Cheap academy sports plates
some different size bands

I'm a fan of Texas power bars. Just as good as Rogue but the knurling is even more aggressive. They'll break skin on my sumo pulls when the Ohios won't. For a home gym it's gonna last just fine for less money.

I also like them because they either replicate the rogue ohio power bar used in competition for me or other leagues that use the texas squat bar. They can take a beating or more weight than I'll even handle. I've even witness knuckleheads at our gym using the good texas bars for stupid heavy rack pulls instead the junky rack pull bars that are literally labeled "rack pull bars."

Now a bar I LOVE is the rogue deadlift bar. That sucker lets me pull about 10% more on a good day. I never train with it, though. I just love it when whatever league I compete in uses it so I can surprise myself or get some token lifts if I spent all my energy on squats
