Hi,
I currently have a Leupold mk5 hd 5-25 on my PRS rig. I'm getting out of PRS and selling the rig to buy a 6.5cm gas gun for gun run type of events and plan to put it on there.

On my gun run AR, I have a NF ATACR. I never once worry about it getting beat up.

I know Leupold isn't NF durable, but has anyone had experience with Leupold and ran it though it's paces? I don't plan to like smash it with a hammer or anything, but like sling it on my back and run / climb over stuff.

Thanks,
Brian

You shouldn't have any issues. Leupold makes solid scopes. They "used" to have a fantastic warranty dept even if it wasn't covered on the lifetime warranty. I recall them being much easier to work with and having faster responses than Vortex same time frame. I wouldn't compare them directly to ATACR durability but I have never abused anything to test that level of quality either.

Optic brand-wise I have only dealt with Athlon, Holosun and Vortex the past 10 years for service or warranty issues..... I have not bought a new Leupold since 2010 for reference.
