It's about time we get together those dagum Lever's and heard them into their own thread. Post up your Levers!

Here is one of mine and my favorite of the bunch : JM stamped 2001 1895CB. 45/70 holds the title of my favorite cartridge.

Nice!
After going through a lever gun "phase" a while back, I'm down to just a run of the mill Marlin 336. It stays at my father's place 650 miles away for annual deer hunting duties.

I've let a couple go that I regret... a pre-safety Marlin .357 in particular.

Ouch!!
A lever in .38/.357 is next at some point. Money isn't exactly allowing for it now!!

Nice to see all the .41 love!

Never knew they did a .35Rem Guide Gun. Very cool. I've been thinking for a while about picking up a well used .35Rem to cut down to 16.5", CeraKote matte black & mount a red-dot sight.

My .357 Blackhawk is feeling a bit lonely tho, seein' as how its .22 & .41 kin all have long gun companions, so "next" is looking like one of the new color case hardened Henry .357s with the octagon barrel. Love me some Marlins & would love 1894s in .357 & .41, but they've just gotten too spendy for my liking. I'm impressed enough with the Henry .41 carbine that the .357 is a no-brainer.

Now this is my kinda thread! I love lever actions. I'll have to get a few photos this afternoon if the weather cooperates. I've been pairing down my collection a little, but still have several.

When I lived in Maryland, and I still frequent, I used Maryland Shooter (MDshooters) forum. They have "porn" threads for all walks of guns. I am trying to replicate some of the more popular ones here. They're awesome little showcases of what beautiful guns there are!

War time leverguns are hard to find! Nice Winnie...

...but that 1894S is the best! ;)

Oh, and I have heirs already, but thank you very much!!

I'd never even checked out a levergun before 2009 or so, when Tom let me shoot his .357 1894. I've been hooked on "Hillbilly assault rifles" ever since. I've got all the utilitarian/tool guns for HD/SD purposes, but nothing makes me smile like a levergun & a single action revolver.

Besides the two I posted above, Have owned the following

Marlin 1895 in 45-70
Browning 1886 Carbine in 45.70
Browning 1895 in 30-06

LSI Alexandria import Rossi M94
Case hardened, octagonal barrel
.357, front heavy balance with slight undertook stock buttplate will make for great stability while shooting standing at longer ranges
Just picked it up, very impressed with fit/finish

That one has the "good" rear sight.
Those early 357's are silly accurate.
Try a 125gr .358 conical cone over Hodgdon Universal. Minute of fly @50yds.

Yes rear sight is very useable/well done
I'll have to get after a friend to load that recipe for me, thanks for that...
