Do I have to take hunter safety again in NC even if i have taken it in another state (NY) several years ago.
I am an NC resident now.

I didn't when I moved to nc. Now that was 16 years ago

All it takes is one phone call to nc wildlife in Raleigh


ETA A quick search says all 50 states are recognized in nc.

You can sign a form saying you have taken it previously. If you have the cert from the class, even better. But it's not required.
