My wife looked into joining when they first opened several years ago. When filling out the application they wanted to know your yearly income. From what she told me the price they quote is based on how much you make. I can't remember what they said her monthly fee was but it was crazy high (she didnt make that much at the time). I will ask her when she gets home in a bit what they quoted her.
Long story but my cousin was visiting from overseas for two months and staying with my grandparents. My grandmother went in there and got him a membership for $40 a month. I know for a fact my wife was quoted quite a bit more.
Seems like prices vary and I don't like that at all. That and they basically harassed my wife with phone calls trying to get her to join until she had to threaten them to stop calling. The place looks massive and extremely nice but I can't get over how they price the memberships.
When we lived in North Raleigh she was a member at the Finley YMCA and has been a member at Anytime Fitness in Youngsville but is now at Planet Fitness. $10/ month.
She works out 6 days a week and does Orange Theory also. She loves that. I think it's geared towards females but something to look into if your into group classes.
