Lincolnton Dad tackles home intruder and holds him at gunpoint

Wonder if that alleged perpetrator needed some medical attention after dealing with dad ?
 
Nothing like a good old body slam. Holding at bay is so impersonal and the second choice so messy
 
But he found his bat and swing it because his finger prints were on it or allegedly. That’s my story for the reason his life ended with 17 shots.

Yep I'm way to old to fight, rather take my chances with a jury of 12 of my peers.Anyway who they gonna believe me or that guy laying dead on my floor bleeding with 15 bulletholes in him.

I guess he's a better human than I am cause there would have been shots fired if somebody was in my house threatening my daughter. There ain't gonna be no tacklin'.

I’m gonna say classic case of crap journalism.
 
No way I’m tackling him with a gun in my hand. Safest thing to do is hold it on him. If I tackle him the gun might go off hitting kid or me. If he makes a move and gun goes off aimed at him everybody wins.

I'm guessing mommy was showing daddy how good of a job the dentist did.

The ending really surprised me. It’s Lincoln County. Well known for taking care of business without repercussions. They don’t play. Cheating at cards has made a lot of people disappear as well as stealing moonshine stills.

If I find an intruder in my house with my kids in the house, there’s no tackling involved. He gets a couple to the head and call the cops! Period! I’m not risking one of my family getting hurt by him wrestling around on the floor. I was afraid for my life! And we have saved the county and state some money while keeping scum off of the streets! The key is, dont be in my house without my permission, stealing my stuff that I have worked to pay for and I won’t shoot your ass!
