Look for lemon sherbet.

I once had a GF that loved Lemon sherbet but she made her own using a bottled lemonade product. Don't recall exactly how she did it but it was quite tasty. Do some research.....

Short answer is you may not be able to. If you've checked Lowes Foods then you're probably going to have to go to a bigger city to find it.

However, consider this...

Quick and easy homemade orange sherbet:

1 - can sweetened condensed milk
1 - small can crushed pineapple
1 - 2 liter bottle of orange soda

Add condensed milk and pineapple to freezer drum. Add orange soda to full mark. Freeze. Enjoy.

Sub lemon/lime soda and some lemonade mix and you should have a passible lemon sherbet.

Don, my in-laws used to make the orange-pineapple sherbet all the time and it is really good.

I don't have a lemon sherbet recipe, but we have a lemon ice cream recipe that is very good. When my wife gets home I can post it.

Lemon Ice Cream

2 quarts whole milk
1 pint heavy whipping cream
3 or 4 cups sugar (depends on your taste)
juice from about 10 lemons
2 teaspoons vanilla
pinch of salt (optional)

Mix all together and freeze. Makes one gallon

This is a very heavy ice cream but is very good. I recommend when squeezing the lemons to make sure to get all the seeds out.

Substitute lemon/lime soda for the milk and whipping cream and cut back on the sugar should give you a pretty good imitation of lemon sherbet.

But I'm going to have to try this recipe as is.
