No Sir......Also, his Mother crossed the river on Wednesday. Woulda been 95 next month. She had about 93 damn good ones. Jerry's life is about to change. He was the sole provider for the last 10 years.

I dont know crap about AKs and have never owned one but all the lust in this thread has me kinda wanting to suck some toes while rubbing cosmoline off of a romy wearing a feathered boa.
 
I started reading this thread and thinking how cool it would be to find an entire case of AK build kits. I'm more of an AR or Garand/M1A guy but those make me drool. I'd settle for AKs.

So I searched the house. I looked under and behind things and into places I haven't seen since I moved in.

I searched the attic. I looked in the shed. I even scoured the crawlspace. I'm glad those snakes were hibernating. But I didn't find any cases of any kind of build kit. Not even one.

I think I might have figured out why. It could possibly be because I've never bought entire cases of build kits, stuck them out of sight and completely forgotten about them.

That's sad, but I'm glad he had the time with her, like I did with my Mom. Yep, his life is changed forever.

Will you pass along my condolences when you see him, please?
 
@gunbelt at the end of the day I'm just glad you managed to pull a few non-AK guys and gals into our little corner of the forum. Nice to see y'all. Even if you don't decide to stay, hopefully you'll poke around a bit and learn why we enjoy these guns so much. We're not all a bunch of slav squattin', plastic bottle vodka drinkin', cosmoline wearin', steel case slingin' 8 MOA poors.

I mean, I am, but there are also some solid dudes around here.
 
I smell AK’s. Least I think I do. Never seen, herd, or shot one. Would like to eventually get one, but I don’t know enough about them to buy one. I’m the guy that would end up paying 1K for a 200 pos.....and think I got a deal. :eek:
