looking for a new, plain AR in 5.56

i am trying to find a super-simple Plain-Jane AR in 5.56....
one whose parts are interchangeable with every other one.
not concerned with twist or dust covers or brand/type.
i want a complete rifle. not a parts build.
if you have found one, please post.

Have you tried palmetto state armory?

Or anywhere that sells firearms?

You can buy a factory built psa lower and upper for under $400 right now. Hard to go wrong.

PSA seems to be the way.

regarding others....M-Lok, rails, whatever
are added. some SAY they have the basic rifle,
but when it is time to buy: backorder or other delay.

apparently, i have going about this wrong.
i need to learn to put two parts together
to achieve a Basic or Classic AR since the
"turn-key" AR's i found are not that.

And if you run across a deal on a lower and a rifle build kit…I’m sure somebody here can help assemble the lower (if that was a concern for you). I’d be glad to help if you were near Charlotte.

PSA frequently sells BLEM complete rifles in the 500$ range or complete upper and lowers that come to less than 400 combined. I think that should easily get you a basic rifle?
