I am looking to pick up a single mag pouch for an AR15 mag. I can get a Bravo Concealment one for $28 shipped off of Amazon and I have been reasonably happy with their stuff in the past. I own some of their OWB and IWB stuff for my Glocks. For the money is there a better option?

I like the Esstac Kiwi's, I also have HSGI tacos but i prefer the Esstac. It's plastic but covered in cloth and it has these inserts that put pressure on the mag. But mine are on a battle belt. If your doing this for competition listen to NKD.

I like Bladetech stuff. The Tek-lok is nice for putting it on and taking it off the belt. Mainly looking for something for a training class I am considering taking.

Well if you want to go full HIGH SPEED, you gotta get a battle belt kitted out. I like double pistol mag on starting on the left side front, then AR mag pouch, then a double AR/pistol combo mag (HSGI), then dump pouch. right side single doublestack mag holder then holster. I use the HSGI taco as a top off for the front AR mag and pistol mag. All i do is classes and (defensive and tactical) training. If you want to stay Civilian tactical the blade techs let you run your CCH belt. Remember, its about looking cool. Pro tip, throw 50 rounds in the dump pouch and top off mags while the instructor is talking. Try to look interested in what is being said. :)

I think they aren’t very good for a CCW (CCH?) belt: too loose and wobbly. They should be used with a proper two piece belt.

And I use mine for competition, and really do whatever I can to avoid anything “tactical”.
    “Civilian” or otherwise.

I run the Safariland model in the link below, very close to Blade-Tech like @NKD uses. I don't have any significant complaints, and they have served me well. I don't know which came first, but I can say I found the Safariland first. Otherwise, I would have gone with the Blade-Tech, they seem to be a little more robust. I will choose either of them over the Bravo Concealment. The Bravo takes up to much real estate on the belt compared to the ones listed above.

The nice thing about Safariland is that you can put mount on either side of carrier, which could come in handy when considering mounting position and belt real estate.

Yea, tactical is bad? I dunno...

    Regarding your question mark?
In NC it is called the Concealed Carry Handgun class that you take to get your Concealed Handgun Permit. In NC Concealed Carry only is for handguns. I am a CCH instructor, so I like to stress the difference. You cannot carry concealed throwing stars, flame throwers or battleaxes. Also, I'm an NRA pistol instructor and when i took my class it was a no no to say "weapon" when referring to a handgun. It's all about being specific.

Cool. Go be a high speed tactical badass. Do you.

Looks like Call Of Duty Cosplay to me. I do competition shooting, not war fighting.

Yeah, because I wasn't sure if you were really recommending to put a Teklok on a regular carry belt. It's a bad solution for carrying a loaded AR mag.
Not trying to be a dick, just telling the truth because I have tried it.

But, now that I know I am dealing with a top professional (OMG AN NRA PISTOL INSTRUCTOR!!!!) I will never question you again. I can only imagine how many Cracker Jack boxes you had to go through to get that well respected credential, lolz.

Yeah, I'm all tore up about some nobody online.

I only quoted you because I thought you gave the OP bad information on the actual subject matter of this thread. Which is not, BTW, "How to spend 400$ on crap you don't need for a class so I can look "high speed".
    Cheers.

You meme as well as you argue— Mr. NRA Instructor.

Another vote for the bladetech. That’s what I run. Tek-lok is just so convenient. IIRC, my scorpion mags also fit the AR pouch I have.
