Looking for honest opinions.

That's excellent work! My Dad was a terrific woodworker - built all kinds of stuff from scratch.

I, on the other hand, was adopted from a long line of hillfolk and can't draw a straight line with a ruler.

After finishing they do look very nice.

I’d call the offset lines good. They are going to be at the forefront of your mind going into your next project, which will lead to better ones.

And, functionally they are just as good as perfect ones, they look great and can be used with the smug satisfaction of a project imagined and completed.

I’ve come to like thick grips with flat sides, so I think I’d like these ones!

I left the grips thick for two reasons. One because I have large hands and two because I figured I wouldn't get it right the first time. Truth be told it wasn't right the second time either. The finished product was actually the third attempt. I left them thick and when it didn't look right I just sanded it down and started again. Twice. Once I was satisfied with it I then sanded the backside down till I achieved the desired thickness for the end product. I will try again with a different pattern this time. Looking for something with a diamond shape left undone in the middle.
