Looking for semi auto shotgun

Mossberg Model 920 fits your description

There was a point where I would call Rem 1100's reasonable. Cheap, no, but low enough that I considered upgrading my Model 11 (aka: Man Killer... The stock end).

Kendale Pawn in Sanford has Beretta 1201FPs for just over $300. They run like a raped ape and stories of harsh recoil are greatly exaggerated. They are police trade ins, I think from the NCHP(?), so they have been shot a few times a year and moved in and out of cars.

I am an average built guy, and I put 200 rounds of wally world birdshot 15 or so slugs, an maybe 10-15 rounds of buckshot all in the span of a couple of hours, with no ill effect.
They are no worse than any other 12gauge shotgun.

For the money I like my 930. A Vepr is cooler though and not much more money, until you start buying mags...

I bought the hatfield 12g. For a cheap gun does what it's supposed to. First auto I've owned. Takes about 100 rds to smooth out but then it's good to go.

Stoeger M3000, basically a Turkish made M2 with recoil assembly relocated under the handguard.

Fostech Origin-12 if your feeling rather rich, but if your on a budget I'd get a Mossberg 930.

A buddy of mine has a Saiga 12 for sale. It is like New with a 20 rd Alliance Armament drum mag for 750.00 cash. No trades.
