So I’ve been doing some reading and research after talking to a friend who was recently diagnosed with Low T and well, I have a several of those issues. I set up an appointment with a endocrinologist, it’s not till March, today I had to go get a physical at my regular doctor office so I could get a refill on heartburn medication.

So as I was going through all of my symptoms of Low T, the doctor agreed I should be tested, they consider under 250 is low and needs treatment, but it has to be tested twice under 250 to be covered by insurance.

So next week I will be going to labcore for a blood test. Who knows, maybe it is the reason I feel like shit all day, hate everyone, can’t sleep, feel tired all the time, can’t recover from work outs, and can’t lose fat.

What also lead me to talking about this to a friend I have on TRT (Test replacement therapy), that if you’ve had a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) it could lead to low test, and that also leads to PTSD.

I use the replacement patches right now and they work better than the gel. It may also be your vitamin D is low. I've dealt with both in the last 5 years.

I was going to make a joke about giving the vitamin D but I won’t.

Eat two or three bananas a day and I bet you won't need (as much) heart burn medicine. Lose weight and exercise even walking will help with the low t. Good luck

You might want to check out papaya enzyme extract. I was on (prescribed) Prilosec for a long time and was able to finally get off it with the papaya.

Cured my bloating problems on your recommendation. Told my brother about it and after a week he was off Prilosec.

My mother had to take some medication that gave her wicked, and I mean wicked heartburn. Prilosec helped, but the papaya did the trick.

Glad it worked for you.

Losing the weight is a struggle, I am fighting being tired all the time. It’s definitely affecting my thought processes. I’ve put a good amount of time in the gym under the barbell. There’s a lot of things at play.

I had the same symptoms and when I was tested last fall it was at 200. I had tried the gel in the past and did not like using it. It caused all my shirts to stick to my shoulders. This time the doctor had me try the patches and after about a month, the adhesive on them started leaving big red spots on my skins and was getting worse. Now he has me on the liquid that you apply under your arms once a day. When I was tested earlier this month it had gone up to 357.

Thyroid issues can also cause a lot of problems. About 30 years ago I had no energy, would come home eat dinner and go straight to bed and would sleep all weekend. After my local doctors did test for mono and all kinds of things without finding anything, my friend suggested I go see his doctor. He asked a lot questions and did more test and found out that I had hypothyroidism. Got me started on hormone replacement and soon I was back to feeling normal.

With my 3 yo, I would opt for self injections to not risk exposing her to it.

I tried gel- smelly & sticky
Under arm roller- smelled like a french whore, guys at work questioned me o_O
6 mo pellets under the skin
None of them made much of a difference. Synthetic testosterone can help feed cancer. When you add T your nuts can shrivel and stop producing because our body sees it has enough
Make sure they test overall T and free T. I'm 52, 5 mo ago I was at 446 overall and 8.2 free, it was around 285 a year ago. Doc was pleased and said "see, the Rx is working." I told him I never got it filled. I found this stuff, he's made a study of just how we produce T. No sugar, white bread, rice, etc 4 hrs before bed, 8 hrs sleep IF possible. T is mostly produced during REM sleep. I lost 16lbs in 6 weeks.

Man this is the truth!! I have to admit a little about myself. My Mama was 100% Itali... that makes me 50% and for some reason I need sun to create my Vitamin D or the prescribed Vitamin D pills especially during the winter. I take 50,000 IU's once a week. It helps a bunch with energy, mood and endurance.

I have altered my diet starting this year with SuperBeets. Yes, I tried it.. and yes it works! I have more endurance and less fatigue

What vitamin helps with double posting?

In all seriousness some people make fun of me for using the tanning bed at the gym but I’ve used one every winter for a very long time. I definitely get winter depression or winter lethargy. Vitamin D deficiency without the sun.

I’d rather use a tanning bed than take a supplement and this way my ass has a nice glow as well.

Good for you on the gym! Small steps, only eat one bad a meal a day. Snack on nuts dried fruit or apples. Walk when you can especially on a green way, the scenery will do you good. And nature too. Best.

Papaya has been a life changer for me.

Dude! We are in NC. Plenty of sun in the Winter. Trying growing up in Syracuse NY. I am in the top 5% whitest people on earth. Just get outside and walk here and you'll get sun. :D

Yes we are in NC, but literally his ass has a nice glow. He can’t get that on the greenway , well not without complaint anyway

My prescription is like 20 bucks for 3 months, but the side effects are something to worry about as I continue to use it long term.

Untreated heartburn can lead to throat cancer.
Had one of my very best friends die a terrible death because of untreated heart burn.... His short battle with cancer was the stuff nightmares are made of.... absolute complete and total misery is the only way I could describe it.

My T was down at last years physical. That was before the diet and exercise changes. When I had my blood work re checked it was low normal. I picked up a T booster at the natural food store to try about a month ago.

Holy cow! I was taking 2 a day at first. I had to drop back to 1 a day. My brain digressed to about 14 years old and other parts of my acted like I was a teenager again. At some point, as an adult I have to get some work done though. lol It made a big difference.

This is the stuff I'm taking.

I also have to do a Vit D supplément becasuse I work nights and sleep about half the day.

Had temporary low T, had my two sisters in law, four nieces plus my wife and two daughters in the house at the same time for two weeks in the summer.

Women will suck the life blood out of you... why don't scientists ever conduct a study like that?

Every time I go see my mom and sis with my wife I get low T. They all talk at the same time and no one is listening. I get PMS.

We talked about that pending what my levels are after I get the test

Another thing to look at is your fasting glucose levels and triglycerides. My trigs were way too high, poor eating habits.
Stopped sodas and cut back on carbs, lost 35lbs.
Cholesterol better then my wife, she is T2 diabetic.
If I eat that extra donut, I'm shortening my life expectancy one day. :)
