Lower back issues.

Would you share your core strengthening plan?

Unfortunately the program part is a paid membership. I'm only about 2 steps into it right now. It's not difficult but it's specific and a bit hard to explain. I'll try.

Imagine this flex done while standing, on your back, hands and knees, and then the plank he shows. What I did last night in each position was flex the top 5 times, holding it for a long exhale. Then do the bottom. Then do both at the same time. So 15 total reps in each position. This is the one he starts with and it really helped.

The program is about 9 steps that each address a specific movement/muscle groups. This is part of the first section. The second section works the erectors, back strap, upper and lower sections.

Now the pain has mostly shifted from the left side to the right side. Same location but the stabbing pain is lower right. I have another injection scheduled this coming Friday. This is for Left side.

with that said, should I expect the Doctor to inject Left side as scheduled, or will he or can he do both? Or can he only do right if I ask?
I will be calling his office Monday and see what options are

He should be able to do both.

I get both sides done at once for steroid injections but the ablation procedure is split left and right one week apart.

Right now I’m scheduled for left side. But no pain in left now. Dont how it goes away and reappear on right side. Like Chuckman said, they might inject both with lidocaine. Will keep you posted.

Not uncommon for it to switch sides, at least for my mess of a back.
