Picked this little one yesterday used. $350 with 4 mags OTD. Decided it needed more grip. Did a stippling job on it this morning. Came out good IMO.

Can anyone recommend a new set of sights?

I like night sites... and I like the front dot a different color than the rears...

So I went with Trijicon HD Night Sights w/ orange front dot...

As a result, when I put them on my new Shield I brought home the HI-VIZ® Fiber Optic Sights (Red rear, Green front) that came on the firearm. Changed at point of purchase, never used. Let me know if interested.

No trimming. I was going to but after messing with it a bit I decided all it needed was the stippling. Need to pick up a few pinky extensions for the short mags to help with holding it! Lol

I got side tracked with the sights and forgot to mention... impressive stippling...

How many rounds were the extra Mags? That tiny difference between 7 round and 8 round mag length makes a world of difference. The pinky extension feels right too, but I decided just to put the 7 rounder in the back of a drawer and use all 8's.

They were on sale ($23.99) at GunMagWarehouse last week (still are, just checked) for S&W made mags. I also picked up 2 ProMag 8 round mags for mine, they've worked just fine but they feel a little cheaper. Okay for the range but my defense rounds are all in S&W mags.
