I have been wanting one for a long time. I was looking on the CMP site and they have some for a decent price. Can someone please walk me through how I would go about ordering one? Seems they have some requirements, like you have to be a member of a club that is affiliated with them.

I'm wanting a M1 that is in working order, that functions as it should, not a collector peice.

Is there anywhere else that sells them for a decent price? Thanks

Ya I saw that after I posted! Lol

For the proof of citizenship can I just send a copy of my DL or do I have to send a copy of my Birth certificate?

When I join the GCA will they email me my membership number so I can print it off or do I have to wait till they send me my card in the mail?

IIRC I sent a copy of my Passport to prove citizenship.

ou must provide a copy of a U.S. birth certificate, passport, proof of naturalization, or any official government document (When using a military ID to prove citizenship, must be an E5 or above) that shows birth in the U.S. or states citizenship as U.S.

CGA will send you your number and they will also submit it directly to CMP if you direct them to. CMP IIRC will match it up but it is best to have the number with your application.
