I made knives for a hog hunt this weekend (pictures in the hunting section). This is the one I made for my son forged from 1084.
And this is my attempt at a tomahawk, haven't figured out yet what I am going to do about the handle. Forged from a leaf spring (maybe 5160? I used the HT for 5160 and it worked really well, so I assume it's close).
The tomahawk isn't complicated, but it is a good bit of work.
I was really happy with how the edge held up, chopping a tree, then a few hacks into a truck door, then another tree.
