I had to go out of town today for a short meeting. Decided to stop by a couple of gun shop to see if they had any reloading supplies. The 2nd shop did and they also had a good section of powder and it was about 10 to 15% cheaper than BPS.
I picked up a pound of Reloder 15, H4350 and 8208 XBR. Along with those I also have that pound of Reloder 17.

Now which one do you think will work best with a 140 grn Nosler and Hornady bullet? Nosler manual shows the 8208 as the best load but have no idea on the Hornady.

My Savage loves 41.2 RL17 under the 140gr Hornady RLD-M.

Another one for H4350. Have not tried RL15 in .308 family cartridges yet, but have heard that it is pretty temperature sensitive. H4350 is know for its temperature stability. Not so important at 200-400 yds, but more important as you keep moving out past 500

Rel 17 produces some amazing velocities, so I tried everything to get it to group well, including shooting 123 grain and 140 grain bullets. When I finally gave up and went with h4350, 5 shots went into a bottle cap sized group right where everyone said it would - somewhere around 42 grains with a 140 grain eldm.

8208 is probably a little faster than ideal for that cartridge...
