Masters of the Air (Band of Brothers/Pacific Follow-Up)

The finale was good. Every one of these types of series will be judged against Band of Brothers—and that will be an insurmountable feat. Masters of the Air told a good story about an unknown bloody side of the war. I was guilty of not knowing how many they lost. Or how brutal it was.

I’d give the show as a whole 7/10.

Very fair rating.

Don’t think anything made nowadays will match BoB or Saving Private Ryan but as long as they make an honest effort, should be watchable.

The opening scene of SPR set a standard/bar that I’m not sure will ever be matched.

I get to watch the last episode today at lunchtime. Even though I know how it ends, I'm kind of excited to watch the bad guys get theirs.
