Match Videos

Well YouTube is boring and couldn’t add any music... highlights from the Upstate 3gun match. Not the best but managed a 5th place finish.Learned a lot from this match. Hopefully pull it all together for the south regional in Georgia.

Shot the SC Section match on Saturday. The best match I've been to in a long time. Good stages, well run. Finished middle of GM pack, which I guess means I'm not a paper GM. Still lots of work to do though, especially on steel.

Are the scores right?
Yea thats weird, stage 3, squad 2 shows all the hit factors but not the total zones hit. You know how those Brits are

Here's a crap video of the dueling tree match i went to yesterday. Some how I did pretty good even though I was nervous as crap. Shooting a new canik tp9SFL. They're rules were: 2 mags, 6 rounds per mag, 1 minute of shooting, can reload as much as you want, but no more than 6 rounds at a time. For whatever reason, the canik was shooting high, with all ammo I tried.

Managed to load 1 round at the end and smacked the last target over on the opponent just before time.

Here's my match video from yesterday's True North falling steel match @ The Range in Oxford. It was my first action pistol match, so obviously some bugs to work out. It was also my first time shooting a Texas Star (a double at that...), first shoot house, first time shooting seated. Good times for sure. I'll be back.

I did have a couple of stovepipes - so I'm wondering if I need a lighter recoil spring. Loads are 147gr making ~130PF.

Wasnt pretty. Wasnt great. Got my but kicked. Can tell I havent been dryfireing, will be back at it soon enough.

But I still had fun.

Sounds like my match...at least you didn't make up an alpha with a NS...still fun running a pistol again.

How’s the metal treating you?
About 98% of the trigger problems I was having as a result of my injury are gone. It's a night and day difference. Still getting used to the timing and learning the gun, but so far I am blown away at how much I like that gun. A whole year of frustration is gone. Now I can focus on getting better again.

I need to know where to get this hat

That fellow has a talent for picking costumes. Everyone said they wanted to stand next to him just to be in the shade. He is pretty quick on his feet and actually found that the hat was slowing him down so he took it off to shoot after the first couple of stages. I have a palm sombrero that I wear in the summer sometimes; funny, it's never slowed me down!

Made some really bonehead moves today: standing reload, 2 pieces of steel left up. Other than that I felt really good

Looked good bro. Don’t beat yourself up too much! Just learn from it and in “theory” you will not make the same mistake... But I still do somehow haha
