Match Videos

I've been working in California for the last six months, and haven't shot a gun since 2016. That ended Monday so getting warmed up to go waste more ammo.

These are videos I took last year but thought I'd put them here. I'm filming someone in most cases here, usually the better folks :)

are a couple from 2016.

1st match 4 weeks post op from cervical fusion. Started on stage 4, and was shaky for the 1st 3 or 4 stages. Once I did the turn and draw on stage 6 and my neck didn't break...the confidence came back a I started turning it on the last 3 stages.

Devil Dog USPSA did a great match today. I won Production, 3rd overall. I think like 74% on the classifier... which sucked.

These folks are really doing good things. This was their 5th match, and they're improving every time. Canopies on every stage. Coolers full of ice water on every stage. Designated scorers and RO's on every squad. Combined bay with the classifier and a speed shoot. 7 stages.

@Mike Overlay @Wolffy Didn't one of you say you were making the trip soon?

Where is this?

Really good to see you on the rang again.
I'll have to admit a good little bit of upper back pain below the fused vertebra...like the doc said would happen. Luckily a friend carried my bags in his cart, as I'm still under a 10lb weight restriction. I feel awkward overall. I know dryfire will smooth it all out. I'm not going to go back to heavy dryfire till my 6 week follow up with the doc...after that it's full speed ahead.

Hope you end up feeling better after its all said and done.

What software are you guys using to string clips of video together into one? Supposedly you can do it in Youtube, but Youtube and my Flash software are not cooperating with each other on any of the four computers in my house.
