Saw this and thought I'd pass it along.

CDNN has an auction for a nice rifle. It has "ACT III Greensboro on it"
It is a Norinco SKS, with matching serial numbers, and looks unfired as an SKS could look.

Only $1875, with a "buy now" of $1900 http://www.gunbroker.com/item/644049183?

Oh yeah, matching serial number is 00001 in places... 2500001 in others.

It is pretty and all... but ... holy cow!

I'll sell you a numbers matching Norinco SKS today for $1500 cash. I'll even include 100 rounds of ammo. That's a $400 savings!

Good deal for a crate. Effing insane for one chinese SKS.

They should, and probably do, know that is not really serial number 1. Very misleading advertising.

I've seen similar things happen with Rugers - a "serial number 1" gun that is really only the first in that particular prefix block, but it is not from the first prefix block.

What's the ole saying? "There's an idiot born every second?" Well I guess there is an ass for every seat. That's way I mean WAY overpriced. I need to contact the seller and see if they will give me whom ever buys it their info. I've got some shit to sell him/her!

Aww heck ! I was too late! Someone bought it for $2325 ! I bet if you listen, you can hear half a billion folks laughin their chinee hineys off. LOL nobody got the all english manual in the plastic that clearly stated that it was new and unissued. Here in the US, you could probably buy a dooky samich for $10,000 if it was in a plastic bag and had a machine printed statement that said in big bold letters that it was made from Elvis' very own.
