Anybody that watched the S4 premier of Yellowstone probably saw the ads. I remember seeing something about it before, but didn’t see a thread. I see the first episode of MoK is going to be on the Paramount channel and not just the P+ streaming service, but the rest of the season is streaming only. I like Renner. This one has potential. I’ll probably watch the premier, then wait until all of this show and Y:1883 is available to stream…pay for a month and binge it all.

Unexpected early exit from a week known actor.

Plot is basically a rationalization of the corruption of CO's, the prisons, and the police.
It could be set anywhere because any system where people have the power of life and death over others always breeds corruption.

(someone in my extended family had to pay cash tips to the CO's in MA to keep her son safe and off the "beat rape" list)

Legit question: at the end of episode 3, the prison guards check on a beaten prisoner. One of the guards is carrying an odd weapon I’m trying to ID.
Appeared to be an AC556, or Mini 14, or M1 carbine? Any help?

Mini-14 GB model (Government Barrel). Very accurate show detail as many prisons have used these for decades.

Tried watching season one when it came out. We lasted about 3 episodes and lost interest.

Anybody watching season two? Episode two had this mind-numbing conversation. After some thugs shoot up a house full of people with full auto weapons, the cops find one of the guns in the yard. Convo goes like this (@13:37):

Police detective: That’s not a f-💣 gangster gun. Look at this thing. Mikey, this thing’s got an added rail system. It’s got…dramatic pause…it’s got a f-💣 muzzle brake on it.

Response from another detective: great, now they’re f-💣 gunsmiths now

Response from Mikey: nah, nah they don’t know how to do that 💩, must’ve got it from the Mexican(s)

Muzzle brakes are the devil, and must only be installed by gunsmiths.

Good show imo. Taylor Sheridan is really cashing in.

This, Yellowstone (all of them), tulsa king... not to mention sicario and hell or high water. This guy has the midas touch it seems.

Just watched this episode. Laughed so loud at the "It's got a f* muzzle brake on it" line my wife had to pause the show to see what I was laughing about. I told her that muzzle brakes will be the new catchword now and next on the list of things to ban, even more dangerous than the shoulder thing that goes up.

I caught that too. Pointed out out to my wife as well. She doesn't know either though so i was just laughing alone. ...i still like the show. Very few shows/ movies are accurate about firearms.
