I'll be there. Fourth or fifth year in a row. Not as a runner though. My family and another family staff the aid station in the big field. If you've run it in the last couple years, I've probably called out your number or trail name. The last 2-3 years I've had the clipboard checking off laps for the marathoners.

The first year I was there I walked one lap in reverse with a backpack full of water bottles. That's a heckuva course.

We usually go up Thursday afternoon, but my wife is sub-teaching now and has a job lined up for Thu & Fri, so we won't be leaving Charlotte until after 3p on Friday. We'll be in my dad's RV Fri & Sat nights.

ETA: stop by the tent after you're done and introduce yourself...

I'll look for you... I'm running the 10 miler. My trail name is Raver X (typo as it was supposed to be Racer X!!).

I'm on the private side of the campground. Most likely sleeping in the bed of my truck (silver F150). With the futon mattress, it's actually very comfortable.
