Seems there's a group of CFF'ers occasionally meeting at this place across from the South Main WM that was recently in the news. Personally, I haven't been there in years but it isn't far away.

If it is, the BBQ is pretty good. Wasn't disappointed with it at all.
Curious though...is lunch with @Burt Gummer as bad as reading his posts? Does he repeat himself every third sentence in person :p

Lunch with Burt Gummer is kinda like watching some really shady YouTube videos...its amusing and enlightening, but you wont run to tell your friends about the subject matter.
 
I'm in just let me know. FYI there is also a Pizza Inn across the street that has a buffet. Just throwing it out there.

I’m off on Mondays, can do about any Monday. And I was off last Friday. After working a couple full weeks I could do a half day on Friday and meet. Or on a Saturday about any week.

As a resident, I must accept you're right. And add that the subject High Point also often includes topics like cheap guns used by gangstas, few arrests and fewer convictions, and the like. :(
 
Dang, how the heck you guys get time off enough to meet for lunch during the week? I would be in if its at night or I will have to fake being sick and call out of work.

How we have so many members from around high point/ greensboro but we don't have a shooting day yet?

Of course. But if we're doing lunch on a Friday and we have a big group, we need to meet there by 11:00 am and get a big table setup.
 
Alright guys. This is gonna take some coordination because we all can't meet at the same time unless we plan it out.

Let's start by taking this coming Friday, and all of the Fridays in August, and see which one works for everybody.

As it stands right now, I'm good for any Friday through the end of August.
 
Second Friday in Aug (the 10th) is the only one I can do.
Im in Atlanta now until Aug 5 and I have classes the rest of the fridays in the month.

But if the majority need a diffetent friday, dont hold up on my account

Dan wasnt lying, it's like 3" thick and super delicious.

Ive learned a lot from that man, and one of those things is that he knows good food!

Friday works for me. Like Q ball said we need to get there early or call and let them know we are gonna have a big group.
