Hmmmm, if only there was a way to make a standard AR come apart so easily......

Is there not a concern about stowing or otherwise transporting an AR with its insides exposed (assuming you’re saying just pop the pins and separate the upper/lower)? The BCG could come sliding out. The lower could get some fuzz from the inside of a bag or other debris lodged inside. Maybe it is that simple and this is just a waste of money, but then why didn’t the Air Force simply break an AR pistol in half and tuck it in an ejection seat for a pilot’s kit?

I feel like that’s extra training too. Anyone who has field stripped an AR knows how to reassemble an upper and lower

I wouldn’t be too concerned about storing an a broke down AR in a bag. BCG shouldn’t come falling out unless you pull on the charging handle. It’s not quite as compact as this rifle, or breaking an AR down, but a Law Tactical folding adapter is a nice way to fit an AR in a bag.

Didn’t some company make covers for the uppers and lowers at some point? Might be a cheap option if they are still available.

Quick search shows Raven Concealment and Shapeways make them
