Do any of you experts of the rem family know a good range of torque for the action screws in a model 7 with a synthetic stock? I am wanting to install an aftermarket trigger for hunting coyotes, but the rifle is really accurate now so I really do not want to lose any of that. Google has been very little help. If this is the wrong place for this post I apologize. Thanks

If it's accurate now then you must be in it's preferred range. As you remove the screws to do the trigger swap measure the torque and duplicate it afterwards.
How you ask??? Take your torque screwdriver and set it below what you think the torque currently is and gradually work up until the screws turn the least little bit and that would be where you want to go back to.......

I am going to try and use my fat wrench and ease up to screw movement. That is good common sense advice. Thanks

700's are 55 to 65 inch pounds. I can txt my gunsmith and ask him. He has all that memorized.

Thanks Jimmy. I used fat wrench like Vapor said and I came up with 40 on front and 20 on back. Tell your guy he is awesome! Thanks everyone for the help[emoji106]
