Some of you know I posted about my mom having lung cancer a while back, well she passed away this afternoon. She's not suffering from the cancer, chemo and radiation anymore. She was having a rough time had lost down to about 100 pounds. It's good Just knowing she's finally at peace and with my Dad in heaven.
 
Very sorry for your loss, Gunny. It is tough to lose either parent, and when both are gone, it rekindles the grief from the first passing.

But you're right; she suffers no more, and is enjoying the reunion with your dad. May you work through your own sadness Gracefully.

Sorry you had to say good bye to your mother. That is a very hard experience in anyoneā€™s life. Best wishes during your grieving period.

But, as you said, no more suffering and reunited with her husband.
