More senseless gun violence

Is that one of those high capacity semi-automatic nail guns? No one needs that many nails. o_O

When I was working in construction they laughed at my trigger discipline lol. I always kept my finger along side until I was firing.

I’d laugh too.

I often hold the trigger and just pop the gun. That one pull, one shot thing gets old real quick.

most likely this accident added to gun violence using a magazine that holds> 10 rounds

When I was in high school I interned at a local physical therapy office. We had a guy come in that had shot a 3" framing nail behind his knee cap and into his tibia, basically holding his leg at a 90 degree angle. He rode to the hospital like that, holding his leg off the seat and floor.

Nice guy and he admitted it was his fault. He held the trigger down and just bumped the safety to nail things. He pulled on the air hose and in doing so pulled the gun back against his leg. He had some impressive X rays to show people.

One of my wife's co-workers at another job had the misfortune of losing her husband to suicide. He drove to a big box home improvement store, bought himself a paslode nail gun, got in his vehicle and drove around back and nailed himself in the heart.

I've seen guys wire tire the trigger so they could just pop pop pop, and keep going. It gives you a longer reach too, if you're nailing above your head, think, holding the gun by the fitting instead of the handle. Also heard a story of a guy who had the trigger wired and threw the gun over the wall to climb the ladder and the gun came down between the studs and nailed his stud to his leg...
