Mossberg/Maverick 88 Security

Buddy of mine wants to buy one of these. There are two models, and I'm seeing conflicting info, even on Mossberg's website. Anybody that has one, or knows for sure the answer to my question, let me know. I'm simply wanting to know capacity.

31023 is an 18.5" barrel, and says capacity of 6
31046 is a 20" barrel, and says 7+1

Some sites list the longer one as 8. Is the 23 a 5+1? Or a 6+1? and can anybody confirm the 46 is a 7+1?

18.5 is 5 + 1
20" is 7+1
That's my personal experience. I will double let check the 20" tomorrow.
