Mossberg Shockwave Game Changer

May look cool but it kills the concept as originally designed. Both Rem and MB must be working from the same playbook with this... No thanks....

This just doubles down on it.

When I saw it I actually laughed out loud. I don’t want with or without mag feeding but I love the thinking behind it.
 
I don't understand the desire for a mag fed shotgun... I get the concept of the shockwave, but adding a magazine seems to defeat that handiness.

Now if they made a 930 or 590 that had both a tube magazine and could use a box magazine, that could be a potential game changer in terms of 3 gun or the ability to change your load quickly, could keep the tube loaded for HD and have the option to quickly load a box magazine with slugs or birdshot.
 
I think in general the appeal of a mag fed shotgun is more ammo between reloads, and faster reloads. Perfect for 3gun as you say, but not exclusively for that.
