Mothers Polish

Bought some Mothers polish from a lot of YouTube recommendations and loved my outcome.

EXCEPT. I can't seem to get any gleam out of the top! Been over it 3 or 4 times with 0 change. Only 2 rounds on the rest of it. The finish on the top of the gun is different from the rest of it! Do I use a wool bit for a dremel? Worried about rounding corners or getting a "hammered" finish if I do that. Recommendations?

Mothers Mag is good stuff.

It looks like the top is blasted rather than polished, maybe to prevent glare from messing up the sight picture?

Ptobably bead-blasted or intentionally dull to reduce glare, which would negatively impact aiming on bright sunshine.

Like Bowen said. The top isn't supposed to be shiny. Try shooting a chrome/polished top pistol in bright sunlight...
