Beginning tomorrow morning, I won't be on here for a little while. Tomorrow we start loading the truck for the move. After the truck is loaded, we will rest a bit and try to get some sleep and head out in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.

Captain Jerry will leave out in the truck early Thursday morning, drop his wife off in Florida, spend the night and come on to Silsbee, arriving Friday afternoon/evening. As soon as Jerry gets there, I will take him to pick up the rental car. He will then go back to Florida and pick up his wife and return to Conway.

Moving is a stressful thing to do and with all of the uncertainty going on, it's even more stressful. I'm hoping that the travel goes smoothly but, that's all out of my control. But, we have everything boxed up and ready to load. It has been a huge undertaking but we have been working on it for a while now. Soon, we get to unbox all of this stuff and find a place for it in the new apartment. This is where we will be going. https://www.apartments.com/mill-town-seniors-silsbee-tx/br2dj9c/

Once we start getting settled in and I catch a breather, I'll check in. I plan to be as active on CFF as always, this place is near and dear to my heart. I'll just be posting from Texas instead of Conway.

To all of my local friends that I get to see on a regular basis, I'm going to miss seeing you and hanging out at Battery Oaks. I'll let everyone know when I'll be coming back for a visit so maybe we can hang out and catch up. Take care and be safe.

We expect you to start posting in that East TX Beaumont twang within the month. I used to work with a guy from there. We’d go to meetings in Boston once a year and everybody in the Boston HQ would be saying “y’all” by the time he left a week later. It was hilarious.

I would say safe travel . But I clicked on that link and it says no units available. so unpack and get back to work:p.

Seriously be safe and good luck in the next endeavor

Larry,
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Good luck brother, see you (on here) soon.

Wishing you nothing but the very best my friend. Stay safe and God speed...

Safe travels and God Speed Larry. We'll see you after your move.

Safe travels.
I have a daughter in Lafayette, La if you need anything while traveling thru that area.

Safe trip, Geez...and that jug in your avatar? Leave it here :D

Wishing you and the wife a safe trip and smooth transition to your new state home. I'll miss you quite a bit as many miles will separate us after your move. I can appreciate the modern technology much better as I know that you'll still only be a click away by continuing to reside here on CFF.

Happy trails my friend. Life is good...……..life is SO very good.

Yeah.....you'll be kicked outta that place in no time.
Their rule book did say breed restrictions and something about nothing over 25 pounds.
He's not even close to either one of those.

Godspeed, Keep the shiny side up and your power dry. ;)

Feel honored to see you on your last Sunday at the Oaks. I'd never admit in public that I was going to a retirement community. That's for old people!!! Maybe I'll load up Billy one day soon and make the drive out there. Not sure Texas can take the both of us at once, but we will see. I can just imagine all of the brilliant conversations we can have on the way!!! Good luck. be safe and if you need anything just give me a call.
