I think you are an armorer or, at least work on these guns OCONUS. So you will appreciate this. Some of our training days had us doing things such as mixing PT (sort of) with shooting. One of the drills was pairing up, you and your foe would sprint 25 yds, assemble your rifle, and shoot 5 plates (timed). Several of the team guys had MP-5's and some had plain old M4's or shotguns. I could have walked down the aisle and still gotten the AR together before my buddy got the MP-5 back together. Just the sheer number of working parts amazed me. But then his "Tink, Tink, Tink" was pretty cool at the end vs. my deafening BOOM BOOM BOOM.

What brace is that?Like this? Not FA but it might or might not have a binary trigger. It's also not a real MP5. Just a clone.

The end piece is called a tailhook. I have colored several. Guessing it’s either a modified piece that works with an existing stock or it’s a company building them as a kit.
Thanks for figuring it out. It's a Safety Harbor KES with tailhook adapter.

I saw something like this on a Draco pistol the other day. That was a pretty slick setup. Talk about a bunch of Firepower in a little bitty packageIt's a Safety Harbor KES with tailhook adapter.

Atta boy Vince!
Speaking of stress shoots...saw a pic from the sniper comp at Bragg, showed a shooter with his left hand hand-cuffed to his belt, so he was shooting his rifle propped using only his right arm....
Oh, it's on my list. But at 200 bucks and how I only have 2 mags currently, it doesnt make a lot of sense lol
??I STILL need to file my Form 4 for my SB folding brace...
whoops, Form ONE, sorry. I have them, just havent done it.??
Is yours a pistol and you’re wanting to make it an SBR? If so, that’s a Form 1...and they’re currently running about 15-20 days for most approvals using EForms.
Don’t fill out the paper forms. Do it in EForms. They opened Form 1 submissions back up in October and they’re ridiculously fast.whoops, Form ONE, sorry. I have them, just havent done it.
Damnit, Im going to do that this weekend!
Im doing it now, just PM'd you a question!!Don’t fill out the paper forms. Do it in EForms. They opened Form 1 submissions back up in October and they’re ridiculously fast.
What brace is that?
Looks like a Gear Head Works tailhook with a custom PDW setup. The “real” ones have thicker, not rounded, supports
EDIT: I posted this before reading the whole thread where the answer is given.
SB Tactical is coming out with an MP5/clone brace
@SPST what brand of clone is that? Thanks
I can make that happen. I need to send in the stamp on mine as well. Then just need to schedule a time for myself to engrave my sbr.. it’s rough around here with time..This thread got me off my butt to do my tax stamp for sbr
Im really stoked and thankful to you folks for this thread
Now we wait on the ATF to approve and I need to talk to @ncengravers.com about getting to Kville to get it engraved
