Forgotten Weapons finally put out their vid on these.

I really want one of the 4.5" without the scope. These things are stupid nice some even say on par with Korth.
Certainly nicer than any of the Colt snake guns.

I got my paws on a Manurhin (MAH-nyoo-RAHN) revolver once... it's a *very* nice piece of work. The fit and feel of it as well as the deep deep black finish is very similar to a Dan Wesson revolver IMO. I have no idea about longevity - I doubt I'll ever put 100k thru any one gun.

They were designed and built to meet the 1970s training requirements of GIGN officers. The French Gendarmerie equivalent of the FBI HRT or German GSG9.
The video does a really good job of explaining it.

At first I thought it was a joke but a sniper revolver......talk about trying to sell a gimmick. I think I'll stay with a rifle, even one with a bent barrel would be a better choice, lol.

These are mostly hand made for highly trained officers to be used in very specific circumstances and locations. Think back to the mentality of a urban swat officer in the late 60s early 70s. SBR AR pattern rifles are not a thing, semiauto handguns still have some issues cycling HPs, and airplane hijackings are on the rise.
Yes it seems stupid now when a 8" .300blk sbr would fill the role this does no problem but back then a 8" .357 with a scope fit the bill.

The French GIGN were still using that revolver in the mid 2000s, to end hostage situations. The MR73 is among the most durable and accurate revolvers ever made. Regards 18DAI

Who’s the guy who makes pens? I thought I remember him saying he had one or something similar. I know we talked about it in the chat box one night.
