I have a night vision illuminator I want to be able to mount behind my MRO on my go-to AR. The height to the center of the NV optic is about 1 1/4" to the top of the picatinny rail. What height mount do I need? I currently have a lower 1/3rd and it's too high. Not sure if Absolute or Low would be the way to go and I can't seem to find any answers with my google-fu...

Does anyone make something between Low and Absolute? Seems like a big jump between them.

If it doesn't exist and you really want it I'm sure you could get something made. Aluminum is easy to mill and tap and I don't believe the MRO is that complex of a top end. Shouldn't be to hard to get one taller than you need and have it milled to the right height.

Found some things that may help:

This is from ADM's site.

EDIT: Midway says the ADM low mount is:
  • Low Mount=0.985" Height from Top of Mounting Rail to Optical Axis
Cowitness height is based on a standard, and their low mount options I figure is more of a company-specific determination on height. Geiselle puts their lower 1/3 mount for the MRO as below:

Here's what you may need. The low Trijicon mount says its 1.043 to centerline from rail top.

I really need to mount it and mic it I guess. Seems like it's going to be off one way or the other and I will need to know which way will be closer...
