...and incidents like this is why you should be armed, always.

I have been following this story...glad to see they have the dregs in custody...horrible for the father to hold his son as he died.

The elder dreg has been charged over the years with 230 felonies w/15 convictions...two prison tours...the Florida justice system failed, which means there are likely many more just like him out there.

Holy hell! I thought from your description the guy would be in his 40s. He is 26!

Someone with that mean who also isn’t learning how to not get caught...man like that deserves to die. And any woman who wants to be with a man like that....

One possible scenario...... he used a stolen credit card...... if he used it 30 times, then that could be 30 felonies. Same with breaking into cars..... he broke into over 30 cars during a period, that could be 30 felonies. The judicial system usually doesn't give much time for stuff like that. This guy is total piece of trash who deserves to be hung and shot.
 
FLA must not have a habitual felon law. If they did, this guy would have been behind bars before this episode. Yep, always carry at least a handgun so you can fight your way back to the MSR you should have been carrying.
 
First time I ever saw that Sherriff was a a news conference when the Uber driver shot and killed an attacker.
I have tried to keep up with him since then. Any county would be proud to have a Sherriff like that. His quote from the Uber incident was grand...

Remember when you are out and think you are Bad, there are people out there with guns...and they will Shoot you!

Along with concurrent sentencing vs consecutive.
 
If you fish in FL be sure to conceal carry, otherwise if you open carry while fishing which is 100% legal to do so, police will show up in mass and draw weapons on you and your fishing party. Many videos from FL open carry show this problem.

Saw one of those the other day where a guy and his party were issued trespass tickets in a public park while open carrying even after the game warden showed up and told the cops he was legal.
 
Another when they take his AR pistol and point it at the fisherman, 'please don't point my pistol at me', officer says 'it's on safe'.
 
I saw a fine gentleman today that had been charged with 159 prior charges in the last 20 years. He was really a clean cut guy to look like his record was that bad.

Yep, GF and brother are as guilty as if they had pulled the trigger. One of them should have excused themselves to go to the bathroom during dinner, and called the cops.
 
Watch how many different groups will come to their defense when the case goes to trial.
 
Build statues for the criminals. Would not surprise me.
 
20 miles south of my home now, and Grady Judd is an a$$ kicker of a sheriff. Lots of Youtube videos of his NO BS press conferences. He is a STRONG believer and enforcer of the 2A. When the protesters started talking about going to the suburbs, he sent a warning. The citizens of Polk County like guns, and I encourage them to have them. Before you go into the neighborhoods here, you'd better know that they will be waiting for you with those guns and they will shoot you and shoot you a lot. Does not play and very well respected in the area.
