Looks like husband killed his wife and another family member at a Walmart in Alabama,
he crashed into her car then killed both women then turned the gun on himself.
An order of protection was granted to the wife.

Why did these cowards think they must take it others instead of just killing themselves?

Would being armed have helped the wife or other woman in this situation?
Mayne, maybe not. I won't pretend to know that answer, but it definitely couldn't have hurt.
But, what I do know is a restraining order is nothing but a piece of paper. Way too many people put faith in the wrong things to keep them safe instead of taking responsibility for it themselves.

A gun is a answer, so are many other things, the first is situational awareness, but bad people get a vote in how things play out.

A planned ambush thats executed half way well is very deadly at the start.

I would say that these situations do not "just happen" its been a build up over time.

The older i get the more i reconfirm that communication with others and treating yourself well is the key to not living a crap life.

That woman died and her friend died because of a long string of decisions made over the 23 years she interacted with him. Not saying its all her fault at all, its both hers and his.

When my daughter took her concealed carry class years ago, there was a woman in the class that had a CHP already, granted by the sheriff at the time she took out the restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, with the requirement she actually take a class when she could get into a class.

Yeah it could be. Women are not always not guilty, men are not always guilty in these cases.

We all know people to avoid in every day life. You knowing this is not by chance its a choice. You choose to engage or not. Some people show true colors sooner then later but when the red flags pop its a choice.
