My 2nd IDPA match...(H2O in Dunn)

I did my second match today! Compared to last time, things went really well! My gun was perfect. The few things that were not perfect were caused by the imperfect shooter: me!

Had quite a few errors, but I learned things. To do a match and get it done without all the malfunctions that happened last time makes me feel like I won the gold in the Olympics! I did a lot better this time, and I'm not last on the list now! (Sorry, not gloating.) Improvement is what I had hoped to see each time I tried this, and so far so good.

Thanks to all the guys that helped steer me along, and especially those who hauled me up from kneeling on one stage! (Hope I didn't throw your backs out.)

As always, I learned a lot, and everyone was great. H2O is a fantastic place to shoot. See you guys when the weather gets much, much cooler!

I gave the RIA 1911 9mm a last go....it was fantastic. It made up for the last match we did...lol.

Thank you! A 1911 is just a "natural" feeling gun for me....
I wish I could be sure it's sorted out, but it will have issues again. RIA says they'll send a new gun.

my experience RIA is a standup company and will go the extra mile to make you happy that is why I own 8 of them. To me how good a company is, is measured in how they handle it when someone has a problem and RIA has taken care of any problems I have had

They have been great with all my emails and stuff. Lol. They didn't fix the gun, but have offered a replacement.

Glad you had a good time Millie. Now back in front of the mirror with a empty gun, check it again cause it needs to be EMPTY and practice drawing and reloading!
