Wrangler makes an outdoor pant that is incredibly comfortable. They are synthetic and very water resistant. A light rain beads up and runs off. A downpour probably wouldn't. They have a winter version with fleece lining and a summer version with no lining. Lots of pockets and very flexy/stretchy.

About 22-24 bucks a pair at Walmart. Highly recommended for Hunting, camping and all your outdoor activities.

Eh....they kinda look like Lululemon but even more gay on men. Knock yourself out, I'll stick to Deluth firehose pants or Berne overalls for my cold weather outdoor activities ;)

The fleece lined are the bomb.

I am REAL hard to fit in any pants (lonnnng waisted) and Wranglers just fit.

I have worn Wrangler jeans, cargo shorts, and cargo pants for about 10-15 years.

Now that I know my size I just order on Amazon. Might be a few bucks more, but they arrive at my door, and Walmart can now KMA.

Texas Pete. etc.
for the record, texas pete isn't hot sauce, it's vinegar sauce with pepper flavoring.
If your main ingredient ISN'T peppers, you're not making hot sauce. (exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis for brands using water and tomato but incredibly strong peppers like carolina reaper, ghost, etc - but they're still weaksauce)

In other news, I fond new pants to look at. thanks guys (and I don't mean the tight pants listed at the top of the thread :p )

I thought the title said plants, not pants. I came here looking for Willie

Damn, I gotta have cargo pockets. I drive a lot and am always needing things in my pockets.
My pants look like Capt Kangadamnroo. Lotsa pockets!! Like a 10 year old about putting stuff in pockets. Liable to find a dead frog or a broken pair of pliers.

I wore the Wrangler Rangers as work pants for several years. I didn't find them to be all that durable, and they were really hot in the summer. Gained a lot of weight from absorbing and holding sweat. It's not practical to wear shorts in my work environment.

I tried the CQR pants off Amazon, and I'm sold. They are feathery light, and really tough. I haven't managed to damage any of them in 2-1/2 years (each pair being worn about once a week), and I'm constantly in contact with sharp edges that would tear the Rangers. They breathe, dry out very quickly, and are as comfortable as pajamas. Lots of pockets and well-thought out features.

OK, I'm uh...frugal . 5 pair of cargos from Cintas...black...hemmed for my short laigs…$40 landed.

These are what we are issued for uniforms at my job. I’ve worn some really uncomfortable uniform pants over the years, and the Cintas are hands down the most comfortable I’ve ever had. Lots of room, plenty of pocket space, and not “perma-starched” like some I’ve had. I wear mine when I’m not at work often.

Careful with those particular ranglers. 94% nylon. They will melt. I smoke cigars and I try only to wear cotton. You can burn a hole in cotton but nylon and other man made fibers will melt, burn, propagate, etc. Ask me how I know...

Stopped at a Walmart this afternoon and picked up a couple pair to try. Seem to be a copy of some of the Kuhl pants which typically cost $80-100. I also have some Prana and Mountain Khaki’s that are similar. I really like the small bit of spandex they have. Will throw them in the rotation and see how they hold up. Definitely look nice for $22.
