My favorite outdoor pants.

For working outside and running around robin sage I really like my Kuhl pants. I run the thicker ones.
They’re expensive but I can get at least a year of not 2 of very rough use out of them before they become completely unserviceable.

My favorite non-insulated technical pant is the Northface Paramount pants, with the zip off legs. They were real convenient in Switzerland in June, when it's in the 30's on top of the mountains in the snow, then in the mid-70s in the valley.

If I'm hunting on the east coast, I Sitka ESW pants, with their Fanatic bibs. Haven't experienced temperatures that were uncomfortable in them yet. I picked up a set of the Subalpine Mountain and Stormfront pants for my trip out west; as there will be plenty of hiking, I needed something I could layer based on weather conditions instead of just sit and insulate.

I wear almost exclusively Eddie Bauer pants, and just about all my clothes really. They have all kinds of different material as well as fleece and flannel lined one’s for colder weather. I pick these up at outlet malls and they can be had pretty reasonably priced.

Carhartt bibs or Wild Ass jeans is all I own. Probably 10 pair of each. Single & double front.

I've got a pair of Wildass double front.
They could stand up by themselves when new. Very rugged material.
I'm going to buy another pair, slightly larger, so I can put thermals under them.
I wear suspenders with them since they are so heavy.
