the bottom one is my new bowie, the guard isn't shaped or finished yet, just haven't made a decision on how I want to do it. a new piece of antler did the trick for a handle.been working on it about 5 days.

nah, just a red leaf maple leaf I tracked back from the shop.need to clean the polishing compound off the spacer. don't look that bad except in the picture. that lower spacer at the guard its blackwood too. it could have been blood easily had I brushed the edge.

i have a man who works the local flea market who does sheaths, he's high but real good. it is going to be a user I finished up three knives in the last week, got one more order. hopefully I will get it before my wifes cast comes off and I have to go back to work. I did the forging today for it. took longer to dress the hammers than it did to get a knife shaped.
