2000 silverado 4.3 vortec, bought ‘new’ at 18k miles in 2001. This truck, Betsy, as we call her, has been a great truck. Showing her age but still going strong! Gonna drive it till the wheels fall off!
That is all. Carry on.

Awesome! Goes to show what some routine maintenance with some TLC added will do for a vehicle.

It's a good feeling. My old 7.3 did that about 12 years ago.

The 7.3 Ford was a tough summa beech. My first job as a tech my boss put me in one at 87k. I put 70k on it in two years. 90% of my 6 days a week, 12 hour days was driving to jobs that took very little time. I changed the oil and it never went in for service a single time.

Nice! I had an 01 1500HD with the 6.0. Truck ran great. Unfortunately, NY winters were not kind to it. Frame started separating (3 section frame on those) at 157k. Traded it in in 2016 on an 06 Dodge 2500HD 5.7. Wish I still had either of those

What kind of fuel economy do you get? I have an 03 and it is one thirsty beast.

that is good news.
our Sienna van turned 300,000 in 2019.
still going strong. we cannot kill it.
we have tried so hard.

Hello Neighbor,, you do realize that a lil piece of electrical tape placed over the pesky lil yellow light will make everything really good then.

Yea, I know… throwing a code for o2 sensor. I just replaced the exhaust from the engine back a few years ago and it hasn’t been right since even with new bosch sensors. Guess ole betsy just don’t like new stuff!
