National Army museum

Visited the recently opened National U.S. Army museum at Ft. Belvoir near DC today. No cost to enter and worth seeing.

I'll have to make a stop next time I'm up that way. The Museum of the Marine Corps is close, that'd be a great full-day activity.

Those are great pictures!! I just paid to have a paver for my grandfather placed at the WWII museum and also had a paver for my grandfather, my brother, a close friend and myself at the National Infantry Museum. I plan to get a paver at the National Army Museum with my grandfather and myself on it. I've always appreciated life, but visiting these museums makes you appreciate it even more.

I was and am proud to have worn it.

I will caution that the 12 minute movie with flashing lights, loud sounds and the seats and floor shaking might be an issue for some vets. My Iraqi vet son didn't care for it
