Are there metal detectors or a big gun buster sign?

Last time I went there was a no guns rule on a sign out front. No metal detector. I don’t think they can legally post but I’m not a lawyer.

It’s posted but last year it was just the honor system, no searches.

they can legally post since the zoo is under NCDCR and not NCDPR.
i saw no metal detectors in 2018.

I was there last month. No metal detectors.

We pay for the yearly membership and go 4-5 times a year. I've never been checked or seen a metal detector.

Wanted to report...

Ended up going even though it rained. We needed to get a gift certificate and if we bought via the website it being mailed would be too late. Nice day trip with the wife with multiple stops at intesting stores.

I did not notice any signs
No searches
No detectors
