Ive got a few OWB holsters, and plan on getting an alien gear for IWB... but Im wanting to get a streamlight TLR4 and put on the pistol...

Does anyone know where I can have one made that will work with the light attached?

Thanks

I recently picked up an H&K VP9SK and there aren't too many good quality leather holsters available for it yet. I found great reviews of several NC leather craftspeople but one was close enough for me to be able to visit and discuss exactly what I need (position, cant, leather finishing, etc.). He was able to build the holster around my actual gun so he might be able to do the same for you. He's located between Greensboro and Burlington so it isn't a big deal to drive over there. With a little luck, I'll have the finished product (holster, belt and mag carrier) in the next few days.

Have a look at https://www.redcentcustomleather.com/ and you can contact Harold at [email protected]. Tell him Jeff sent you. ;)

@chiefjason

You won't be disappointed
The last time we discussed lightbearing holsters I think he said he just wasn't building them due to the challenges getting good retention in a leather holster.

I have. Iwb hybrid. I have been wearing every day for over a year

If cheifjason will do it, his work is excellent. He made me a P07 holster and magazine holder a couple of years back.

Yup...he >may< do it, but knowing the quality he puts out if he isn't 100% sure it's going to be perfect he will say no.

My suggestion is to research holsters BEFORE you buy the light. Not everyone deals with lights. I don't. It's a lot of extra do dads to keep up with and they are not cheap. Not as many guys doing OWB specific holsters either. For a gun that size, I would lean towards full kydex.

If you decide to run it without the light I'd be happy to get you a leather holster. My issue with lights is both the amount of options out there and the funky things it does to retention. I've tried before and never really been happy with the outcome.

I work in a garage and need to be able to scratch peoples' fenders while working on their cars. It's kinda like cops leaving a fingerprint on your taillight.

That is a very nice looking rig, but you need one of these. The belt that is.

If I wear one of those belts, how am I gonna scratch the cars?

:rolleyes:

Got a new holster this week.
I am going to get a FB to go with it. Been wanting one for years now and just never seem to get one.
But this is going to happen this week. Unless I get hit by a truck. In which case, I am having my ears donated to Curt.
