I posted on another forum on here a brief story. Short verison got an 06 f350 dually with the 6.0. It ran when it was parked in 2013. Hasn't been cranked since. Looking for a mechanic within a reasonable distance that won't go overboard in bulletproofing it and getting it running again.
Lets try to stick within an hr or so of Lee County and not Dirty South Disesel, he has had it since October and not done anything with it, going to talk to him Monday hopefully and give in the ultimatum of either he starts on it by the end of the month or I am taking it somewhere else.
The long story is, its a work truck, its not in good shape but It was given to me and I don't mind dumping some money into it to have a running 1 ton to pull the horses with. I would like the studs done, delete all emissions, probably a kc jetfire turbo, flush the block, install a fass fuel system, bigger injectors, coolant bypass/ oil bypass filters....plus stuff it just needs like a bed liner, tires, batteries, new windshield, bw hideaway goose neck hitch.......
