Hello, much to my dismay my new to me 10/63 barrel is a total disaster. Rifling is atrocious...missing, or corroded. Pitting and gouges in the bore. It somehow stabilizes bullets, but accuracy is 10+ MOA. Does anyone know of a reputable company or individual who can take a complete rifle and a new drilled/threaded/extractor cut barrel and do a rebarrel (complete de and repopulation, headspacing and all that)? Thanks.

For the price you'll pay for a good barrel, rivets, and the work, you might want to just buy a new rifle.
A nitride barrel will run a little over $100.
A solid chrome lined barrel like a WBP will be a little more.
Rivets: $15

Depending on the labor to remove the trunnion, press out the barrel reinstall, repress the new barrel, headspace, and everything else...you might be looking at several hundred dollars. And if you've got a rough 10/63 with a floppy loose mag well...

Otherwise, check this thread
