the front sight is screwed down. Guess molding in dovetails would add extra cost?

I have a couple small semiauto 22s: A Ruger SR22 and an M*P22 compact. Man I know they cost about 30% more but damn if I only had 2 benjis I think I would try to find me a Wrangler.

it's got the Walther P22 style mag release too..

@Jeppo you buy one and bring it to Billy's next month, I will supply the ammo and we'll shoot all mine plus a couple dozen of the compacts that @Button Pusher can find ;)

I'm sure he has two already to go with his stable of sig 365's :):)

Nah it's a Keltec so it will be vaporware until 2020 :D

2020? that's pretty generous of you. The 3 or 4 media samples will end up on armslist for $999 by 2020 but you won't see them for $200 at the LGS for a long, long time.

It's hard to be a keltec fanboi when you can't even buy the stuff.

I like the way it looks and would jump on it if it had a threaded barrel.

They may shoot well, but they look like they were slapped together from miscellaneous parts. Beauty's in the eye of the beholder. There was no consideration to aesthetics. Compare it to a Buckmark or a Ruger MK Hunter or Slab-side.

I think Kel-Tec makes their firearms ugly on purpose. There can be no other explanation for their line up of visually unappealing guns.

Pretty cool product, hi-cap 22 for $199 msrp when most other 22’s are 10-12rd.

I won’t be a buyer because I had a terrible experience with Keltec and in general am not a fan of cheapo guns.

maybe Diamondback will copy it, and use dovetails and less screws and fugly lol. They seem to have a knack for just that game.

Threaded and a 16 round magazine, my Beretta M9 holds 15 and no threaded barrel.

Bad experiences with KT are pretty rare, you must mean one of their guns. Did you give them a chance to fix it?

I just got a couple RDB’s,, that are da bomb.
I HAVE never bought any kind of optic that cost more than 20 bucks. I like the bullpups enough to spend 2 hunnant on a decent used red dot. That should tell you a lot about how I feel about the Keltecs.

I'm not a fan of their original pocket pistols, but there hasn't been a Kel Tec long gun I didn't want. I love my SU16, just had to get a better handguard.

I actually like the way their guns look. It's different and very industrial, but I'm a huge Cyberpunk nerd.

Keltec is by far the most innovative gun manufacturer out there. There business model is almost perfect. Some people just bad mouth them because they can always produce inexpensive guns. I am and always will be a Keltec fan. Let’s see what the big boys come out with this year, lol. Maybe the other guys will come out with their version of something Keltec did 5 yrs ago or maybe and new grip pattern or they will print their name on it differently:)

Their R&D guys have to be true gun enthusiast to come up with the things they do. Other manf must be designed by straight out executives that don’t understand what the average gun owners like. Their systems work, just boring as hell

A gun breaking after 100rd is a bad experience in my book. You can call it an experience with the gun or company, but a product is a reflection of the company. To your point though, yes they fixed it and I promptly sold it.

Their CP 33 lower looks the same as this one. Why not give us this small version in 33 rounds? Oh, next time!

I've owned three K-T's. Never a problem with them. P-32, P-11, PF-9

Still have the P-32 & PF-9

I still pocket carry my PF-9 quite a bit...….ten years and shot all kinds of ammo in mine...….nary a glitch.

If they need to fix it the bad experience has already happened. It’s like people that say their car has been great but have had it in for 7 recalls in 5 years.

I've had a PMR-30 explode on me, and my SU16 exploded on the guy I sold it to. Sure, CS makes it right, but that is like offering a warranty on a hand grenade.
