Yesterday I was gifted a 3 prong flash hider. The person that gave it to me works for the company that is making these. He said this one was a little less than perfect and I could have it. Visually, I couldn't see anything wrong. Maybe some dimensions were off, I don't know. It threaded on just like it should. The finish is pretty fragile but this may not be the finish that is on the finished product.

It has some locking grooves for twist on stuff. You suppressor guys probably know what it it. Anyway, I screwed it on one of mine and I like the looks of it.

That looks like a plain 20" AR a member was looking for.

Why would you not want it to ping?
 
The ping is irritating to me personally. Especially with a suppressed rifle and this wild ping emanates from the can

 
Just kidding, I haven't fired it since I screwed it on there.

That's the first time I've heard the tuning fork hider, annoying for sure.
The TBAC hider doesn't ring, the three prongs aren't the same thickness so it won't resonate.
